Meet The Scenic Hill Stable Team
Managing Partner, Scenic Hill Stable
Michael Bennett
Based in Louisville, KY, Michael is a lifelong horseman, Michael spent years retiring racehorses and turning them into expensive pets.
Raised in Louisville, he often cut class to watch races at Churchill Downs, where his passion for the sport began. Before entering racing full-time, he built a successful medical implant business and later launched a prominent Kentucky sports media company.
His transition into racing represents a long-held dream to be directly involved in the industry he loves most.
Bloodstock Agent, Advisory Board Member & Equity Partner
Randy Miles
Randy Miles serves Scenic Hill Stable as a horseman and bloodstock advisor with a career rooted in the commercial side of Thoroughbred racing—identifying prospects, managing programs, and guiding clients through the yearling and 2-year-old markets.
After growing up around horses in the Mid-Atlantic, Miles built a professional career outside racing before returning to the sport and relocating to Ocala, Florida, where he developed his program and industry relationships, including time working at Live Oak Plantation.
Today, Miles is widely associated with the “pinhooking” model—buying young horses with the goal of developing them into more valuable sale prospects—and he has been active as a consignor/agent at major juvenile auctions. He has also been publicly documented buying and selling at the top end of the market, including activity at OBS (Ocala Breeders’ Sales) where he has both consigned and signed major tickets on behalf of clients.
Bloodstock Agent, Advisory Board Member & Equity Partner
Bo Hunt
Bo Hunt serves Scenic Hill Stable as a horse trainer and bloodstock advisor with a hands-on reputation for developing young Thoroughbreds—from early training and breezing preparation through sale-readiness. Industry reporting regularly places Hunt in the pinhooking and 2-year-old-in-training pipeline, including documented consignment and agency activity at OBS sales.
Hunt is also the training-side partner in a long-running collaboration with Randy Miles. In coverage of their operation, Miles credits Hunt as “an excellent trainer,” describing a program built around steady, timed progress toward each horse’s intended target (sale or racing). In other industry profiles, Hunt is described as a trusted set of eyes for selecting prospects—valued specifically because he’s focused on the work and results more than personal publicity.
